The Daily Ramble, Part One.

I'm about to make myself nice and go out to vote.

Thanks to Catespeaks, Axvoter and Cluey Voter I am going in quite well informed.

I am delighted that voting below the line in the Upper House no longer requires us to fill in every single number, as I always have trouble working out which party belongs at the very bottom.

I am going a protest vote in the Lower House, as the Australian Labor Party holds this seat by a very safe margin and while I expect they will win, I would like them to see that either the Greens or an independent who used to be in the ALP have support here, and that they should stop taking our electorate for granted. While I would never vote Liberal, the Australian Labor Party now have too many policies that I strongly disagree with, and their strategy of trying to break the back of the Greens and any party that attracts disillusioned Labor voters infuriates me.

If you want my love again, ALP, you need to change.

Everything you have just said applies to me and Pete too.

I'm getting nervous about the results now.

I've just seen the result. Good that the Libs are out,but yes, the ALP stopped being Labor a long time ago.
