I really have no logical reason to feel grumpy. But I do.

As in: unable to read some otherwise great fiction because it's all about other people having interesting lives and I'm feeling very jealous of them. I know that's really not how reading is supposed to effect one, but I'm having an existential crisis so fuck it, I'm jealous.

I have just filled the compost bin with grass clippings in order to both work off some of the aggravation, and get the compost bin full of grass clippings. This helped, on both counts, even though I still seem to be a bit grumpy. So I've also put some things in the wash and come here to whine to you.

Whitefly continues to plague my garden. I may go out and flail at them later.

You are allowed to be grumpy and jealous! I am often jealous of people who get to see their friends because they live close to them. It makes me feel mean and petty but sometimes we just can't help how we feel because the fairness stuff has skipped us.
