Kinda grumpy today. Last week I was trying to get cracking on a few things that need to happen. This week it seems I'm back at square one with them all. Talking to receptionists and gatekeepers whose job it is to make things easier for the professionals behind them, not for the clientele. Waiting for callbacks. Following up in the absence of callbacks. That sort of thing.

And let's not forget that my cat *should* have been feeling better by now, not mysteriously worse.

My physical health is not grand. There's weird stomach things afoot with bonus sore sacrum and I'm spending a lot of time feeling dopey, somnolent even. I'd dearly love to get my period soon, but apparently it's not due for another week.

I do feel like having a good period would fix everything. Probably because it's my favoured explanation for grumpiness and discontent, which means it's cheers me up no end when it happens, even though I fully appreciate that this may be a placebo effect. And of course, I get to spend a couple of days chowing down as much codeine as I need without feeling guilty. I'm sure that helps too.

Okay. Madame Grumpypants is going to put on her grubby pants and go play in the garden for a few minutes.

Yes, your cat should be feeling better and maybe it's time to consult another vet?
Is Foo eating well?

I hope the garden helped.

The garden did help, thankyou!

I'm waiting to hear back from another vet at that practice.
