Conflicted, so very conflicted!

Thankyou [personal profile] ozswede for the package!

Stamps for Littlest Nephew!

And here's the conflicted bit: this was because I mentioned here, aroundabout Christmastime, that Littlest Nephew had become keen on stamps. What I failed to mention more recently is he had lost interest by the end of January.

OTOH, the package also contained PLOPP.

Swedish PLOPP.

I like PLOPP.

Yay PLOPP!

Is it wrong that I'm secretly glad that I didn't forestall a delivery of stamps because it meant I got PLOPP?

Also, that I'm not very good at the secret bit?

~~~
OMG, Moomin stamps from Norway! *bounces*
Surely his interest will be piqued by stamps sent from over the seas to Aunty Splodge?
What in the blazes if PLOPP?
I'll try. I'd love him to remember me fondly for *something*.
PLOPP is caramel filled chocolate that tastes like extra-sugary Caremello Koalas. However, as the Swedes don't have koalas (which explains the Viking era), it is normal square shaped chocolate tarted up with a name that could only, really, appeal to Aussies.
You are most welcome! I thought the chocolate might give you a giggle. I can't say that it sounds appetising, but then it doesn't have the same connotations in Swedish. I was tempted to send you a tin of ham called "Bog" but the postage would have been ridiculous just for a laugh, so Plopp it was.
Typical me to send the stamps long after the attraction wore off. Perhaps he has a friend who collects? Otherwise there are charities who take used stamps (things like Guide Dogs etc). I usually save them up for a charity or a mission.
Bog. No.
Photos or it never happened.
Hehe - I'll see if I can't reignite his interest, and if not I'll pass them on (although I might just hold to those Moomins if that's okay?)
I found a picture of the ham on this supermarket site. Just think, you could make yourself a "bog roll" for lunch :-)
And the biggest selling cat food here is Pussi, so if your guy tells you he's "going down the street for some Pussi" it may not be quite what you are thinking.
Do what you like with the stamps. I didn't know you were a Moomin fan. We love Moomin!
We love Moomin too!
My daughter and I found a Moomin shop at Covent Garden markets last year. We were tempted to buy all kinds of merchandise but we refrained. Daughter has suggested to her husband that they go on a trip to Moominland in Finland but he isn't as keen as she is.
