And now I am anxious and upset for no obvious reason. I do so hate my emotional roller coaster. I am going to assume it's hormones and nothing more.

I'm doing some sewing.

Homecare happened. Looks like I'll be getting a new homecarer as my regular has been off sick for a while and it looks like she'll be away for a while yet. Today's carer is someone I've had before and she's gold, so I might ring and see if I can get her as my new permanent one.

The weather's lovely today - low 20's and rainy.

My bad leg is complaining about yesterday's exertions.

Its not fair - everyone else is getting rain! *sulks*

I hope the emotional rollercoast smooths over really quickly.

You would think that there should be some kind of sign indicating "you cannot ride this rollercoaster unless you are 'this' tall". But somehow, we got on the ride and there's no avoiding the climbs and the descents. Anxiety for no good reason is something I hate a lot, because in the back of my mind, there's a little voice suggesting there is maybe something I've overlooked.

And I hear you about over-exertion. I started the day feeling so good, I allowed myself a longer walk than I ordinarily would. My back was spasming before I was halfway to my destination and now my entire body aches even though I was only using my bloody legs and feet! It ain't fair.

Do I ever understand about the anxiety...and the off button is always either broken or hiding. I hate it so much and am really sorry you get hit with it as well.

I hope the sewing takes your mind off the anxiety. It might also be general tiredness after overdoing it yesterday. I find that I'm more sensetive to negative feelings when I'm physically tired.

Fingers crossed that you snap up the golden carer. I know with my MIL that a good carer made such a huge difference in her life quality. Some people just have that something extra.

Tomorrow is another day - I hope it's a brighter one.

Low 20s sounds wonderful - it was -11ºC here this morning and is predicted to rise to 0ºC.

Hope you manage to keep the good carer.
