As we celebrate the season of gluttony, Winston decides to dispense with the silverware and push his face straight into his Thanksgiving feast. Don’t tell me you haven’t considered doing this yourself at least once.

Interestingly, it worked out better than last year - I had issues getting everything on the table at once last year, whereas this year, everything was out at exactly the right times.
My mum cleaned the entire damn upstairs for me - my dining room and living room look AWESOME - and also did all the dishes, bless her OCD little heart.
My friends Robert and Melissa, relatively recent transplants from Texas, came over. We had appetizers (oh my god SO MUCH CHEESE) and drinks and then soup and salad and then dinner and then dessert and it was lovely and comfy and we all sat around chatting (and watching my father play with the cockatiel) until nearly midnight.
*happy sigh*
And now I still have around 8lb of smoked turkey. Nom.
I wish my aunt and uncle could've come up, but that's really the only thing that was missing or less than perfect. I even had a lovely table setting, with napkin rings and everything.
I'm thankful for many things this year. I'm thankful for friends, both near and far, real and "virtual;" I'm thankful for family that looks after me and with whom I finally mostly get on well with after all these years and struggles. I'm thankful for technology, which allows me to communicate with those I love even when we're far distant; I'm thankful for technology that allows my destroyed joint to be rebuilt. I'm thankful for employment in a capacity I'm good at and which I enjoy, at a company that I love; I'm thankful for health insurance through that employment, so that I can be rebuilt and taken care of. I'm thankful for warmth and light and food and shelter. I'm thankful for love and caring, and for all the support and devotion and even scolding I've gotten in the past year, which has been one of hardest, longest slogs of my life.
I'm thankful for all of this and more.

The guys at Done the Impossible are offering a nice bargain in time for the holidays. Best fan documentary ever.
I love you. I always did. You were always in my mind, hidden if you want to but you were there. Now that we're together I can't think of a time we weren't together. You're my life now. I can't wait to live with you.
Sincerely,
your girlfriend.

In regards to EDIT #2, I know that a few of you have commented that the Post Office said they didn't sell IRC (International Reply Coupon) anymore or didn't know what they were. I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you'll need to go into your PO and ask them what you're suppose to do if they won't sell you a IRC and the Canadian PO won't accept international stamps on letters being mailed out. If anyone in the USA finds out any info let us know.
Tori's Botox/Face-lifts!
I notice when I watch videos on YouTube etc that there's always argumnts going on about this kinda stuff and I wondered what your thoughts are?!
For me, ultimately it's her body and she can do whatever the hell she wants with it! I guess I do find it slightly hypocritical considering a lot of the things she used to write about, however that doesn't, in any way, affect my love for her and her music, whether old or new. I would rather she just grew old more gracefully, rather than getting all that done and coming out on stage in giant heels and massive dresses etc. But again, like I said, she can do whatever the fuck she wants...she's Tori Amos!! lol
So what're your thoughts on the whole thing, cos I know there are a lot of fans out there who feel quite bitter about it! Oh, and just in case, if you're going to shout at me or anyone else for raising the issue then please don't post...we're all entitled to our own opinions!

I typically ground using a tree meditation, although occasionally I'll use other methods like eating something heavy. Grounding almost always works for me, and I come out of a grounding session feeling really good and clean inside.
But I've been having a lot of trouble grounding for the past two weeks or so. Actually, I've been finding myself unable to ground normally at all. It's starting to worry me, and I'm getting to feel like I'm a little bit too open to all the negative energy that blows around.
So! Any unusual grounding methods? Maybe that focus on another element, instead of earth? Any help will be appreciated.

Yuppie: Do you think my neighborhood is sketchy, too?
Friend #1: Well, the part where you walk past the abandoned warehouse *is* sketchy.
Yuppie: They're building an addition. In six months, abandoned no more.
Friend #2: I hear DUMBO is hot right now.
Yuppie: You know, whenever I tell anybody I live in DUMBO, it's like that movie Zoolander, whenever Hansel comes in and they all go, "oh, Hansel's hot now."
