This morning I dreamt that my pet turtle Fred ran away!
And after I retrieved him, he ran away again.
Of course, when I say he "ran" away, I am perhaps exaggerating but on account of my health issues, I did have to ask someone else to actually walk out onto the road and bring him back for me.
I felt bad for not having paid enough attention to him in a while and kind of bad that when I caught him the second time I was surprised at how much he'd grown since I was a child. His lack of interest in sticking around was clearly I sign I had some work to do making life better for him.

Just for the record, I have never owned a turtle but if I ever had and if I ever do, it will be called Fred.

I am now musing on how cool it would be to have a land turtle. One of those huge ones that have no need for pondyness and damp. We'd just sit around in the back yard together, me and Fred, watching the grass grow. Well - I'd lie on my back and watch the sky, Fred would watch the grass grow. And then Fred would eat the grass. And maybe I'd eat some parsley because I can't eat grass, and then maybe we'd go for a walk together or just have a little sit. I'd have a little cushion which I could lean against Fred's back and being a turtle it probably wouldn't matter whether Fred was sitting or walking at the time, I could still get in a light nap between readjustments.
I suspect we'd get along very well.

Am aware that I have things to reply to and do for people and such. Forgive me, shall do so when I can - have had a sudden spoon deficit. Basically okay, but going cottonwool for a few days.
Eldest Brother and family came by today, which was nice.
