I went to a Tupperware party last night, and I'm a little alarmed at how much money I almost spent. There's also the money I did actually spend, but I'm refusing to be alarmed by that because it was for entirely sensible things, so be quiet in the back row please.

And in the freebie department I scored an egg separator - and a long scoop for getting the last cocktail onions out of jars. I will probably use it for olives though, and hope that this does not void the famous Tupperware lifetime warranty.

Bloody dangerous parties, those. Cupboard full of the stuff, but if I go to a party I have to buy more because its an addiction, dammit.

One of my carers was waving opshop tupperware at me the other day. Maybe that would be a cheaper way to feed the addiction?

in junior school all the kids in with a particular girl had a mini tuperware pot on a key ring. Her mum ran the parties and my mum not being local didn't go to any of the parties. I coverted tuperware for a long time. I could go crazy spendy mad at a tuperware party fixing my childhood issues lol!

I've never been to a Tupperware party, having honed the skill of avoiding people who do any kind of direct selling. They were a pest at the school pick-up with those people flogging off Tupperware, Avon, Amway, Thermomix, Bessemer, Arbonne....

Good lord, I've managed to avoid most of those. Amway people are scary crazy. Avon was a thing at school, but at least that stuff was cheap.

My favourite place to buy Tupperware is at op shops. I've scored a few good pieces at such places - and there's no pressure-selling.
