I just had a milo sandwich. It was yum.

In fact, it couldn't have been better. Better than un croissant du chocolat: quintessentially Australian and full of MILO!

(For The Rest Of The World - Milo is a chocolate powder for adding to milk that turns normal Aussie kids into elite sportsmen and women, along with our famous Vegemite).

Hurrah again.

just the powder. Its is DELICIOUS (and full of things that you and I can't have...like gluten)

Just the powder, so it's important not to spread the marg or butter too thin, because you don't want the grains of chocolatey goodness to fall out.

On vanilla ice cream. Much Milo on ice cream...

Now I am getting hungry!

Yes, and very important that it's not a light sprinkle like Mum always insisted on. The proportions must be right!

Akta-vite on ice cream is also very good, but on other, special akta-vite days. Today was a milo day.

Well, that was a bastard act. Now I'm going to spend the evening resisting going out to buy milo. Though somehow I don't think it'd go too well with the rye sourdough that's the only bread in the house at the moment, so I'd have to buy white sliced as well, and then I'd have to make bread and butter pudding ...

I think I'm going to do this more often. It goes well.

Bread and butter pudding...hmm.

As a result of that last sentence I'm thinking of a milo-vegemite sandwich..

It's a shame the Milo here doesn't even taste like proper Milo. I'll have to wait for two years for a Milo sandwich.

I am so curious about this now. I don't think I've seen it before.
