tenbears is now in the thick of it all. I hope he has fun.

On Tuesday I was pondering a glass lid for the top of the fish tank. The aquarium didn't have one small enough. My carer suggested I just use a picture frame or something or cut some glass to size. I paused a moment and said that I figured 10B probably has a glass cutting tool somewhere, and she laughed and said "Him? Almost definitely."

"Kind of makes sense he would really, doen't it?" I said.

"Yeah...kinda does."

~~~
And I'm starting to kick back and enjoy myself. Fish is now where I can see him (although the pump is too noisy for my liking - am going to have to look into this). Cat has discovered the column heater but has come to sit with me anyway, suggesting she does see me as more than a source of warmth. And a comfy trickle of my totally neato-friends and rellies are/will be wandering by.
And I've just eaten the first avocado I've had in ages. Yum!
How big is the aquarium capacity-wise?
This made me smile.
It's just a 10 litre tank that was at a local op-shop - have now spent far more on the extras than I spent on the tank!
Once Mr. Fish goes back into the yard where he belongs, I think I'll keep it for either a community tank for teeny-tiny fish, or possibly one of the larger fish that like being alone.
How about a beautiful, flashy male Betta?
How desperately is the pump needed? My last aquarium could get away with only running it while I was in bed :)
Yay for avacadoes and kicking back. <3
