Moby Dick.

History of the expression "in no wise"= in no way.
A bit circular: I read the first reference to 'stove boat' and looked it up and got this explanation - from Moby Dick. It's a busted boat (the staves have been stoved), busted by an angry whale.
Nantucket history = Wampanoag People.
More history

Rather amusingly, a lot of things I've looked up becasue of this book tell me that whatever-it-is is mentioned in this book...

I love this stuff.

Also, you just made me think that an audiobook of Moby Dick might be rather good to listen to.

Goodo! I'll try and keep it up, although it's dependent on me having the laptop open at the same time.

It's definitely a good read. Great plot, but it's about a whole lot more than the plot...which is what makes it awesome I guess.

The best books make you want to look at other books to find out more.
